The Fort Lee Business District Alliance (BDA) is a nonprofit community organization that, in partnership with the Borough of Fort Lee, strives to revitalize the Main Street Shopping Corridor. The organization’s goal is to position Fort Lee as an up-and-coming, leading destination for those seeking luxury dining, shopping, and entertainment driven by the local business improvement district.
Helping Fort Lee Business District Alliance Align with Community Goals
To best communicate Fort Lee’s value as a diverse business community, new branding was needed. The Direct Development team worked with the Fort Lee BDA to position the borough as a destination live with burgeoning business development opportunities; particularly in its Main Street Shopping Corridor and with large real estate developments in progress. Taking all of this into account, Direct Development created an identity for Fort Lee as a town building itself for the future.

The BDA’s website serves as both a resource for businesses in Fort Lee and a destination site for visitors, with the ability for board staff to add and edit content as needed. Individual businesses can send in their promotions using forms so they can be promoted further by the BDA. A full business directory is currently being implemented and will include contact information and details for all retailers, service-based businesses and dining.
